After School Club EYFS Leader - Alderton IG10

Location :  Alderton County Junior & Infant School Alderton Hall Lane, Loughton  IG10 3HE

Start Date : 1st September

Contract:  Term Time Only - with the option to work during the holidays if desired at nearby sites per week

Hours : 25 hrs per week

Working hours:  Monday - Fridays 7:15am - 8:45am & 2:30pm - 6:00pm

Pay : Up to £17.00 an hour

An EYFS Early Years Qualification is essential for this role, and Management & Team leading experience desirable and able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Breakfast & After School Club Manager to join our friendly team in Alderon, IG10.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to lead our well-established wraparound care provision, creating a safe, happy and engaging environment where children can play, learn and thrive before and after the school day.

⭐ Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification (EYFS) – Essential ⭐

Please note: Applications will only be considered from candidates who hold a Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification recognised for working within the EYFS in England. Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning or Teaching Assistant qualifications do not meet the essential criteria for this role.

About the Role

• Hold a Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (essential).
• Have experience working with children in an Early Years or childcare setting.
• Have previous supervisory or management experience (desirable).
• Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) , safeguarding and child development.
• Be confident leading and motivating a team.
• Be organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be passionate about providing exceptional childcare experiences for children.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.

As Club Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Breakfast & After School Club, ensuring children receive outstanding care in a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment.

You will lead a small team, plan engaging activities, build strong relationships with children, families and the school, and ensure the club operates to the highest standards of care, safeguarding and professionalism.
