Overview

• You will own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and product roles at every level, from early-career to staff and beyond, which means sourcing, screening, and closing each search yourself with no hand-offs in between.
• You will own scheduling and logistics for every search, which means coordinating interview loops across US and overseas time zones on your own, so the pace of a search never depends on someone else's queue.
• You will own the sourcing strategy for reaching passive, hard-to-find technical talent, which means building and running outreach across both US and overseas markets rather than waiting on inbound.
• You will own the technical partnership with hiring managers, which means defining scope, calibrating the bar, and pushing back when their instincts and the data disagree.
• You will own the candidate experience end to end, which means every technical candidate, hired or not, walks away respecting Overjet.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
• Skills: Comfort in an ATS (we use Ashby) managing a high volume of searches at once; excellent written and verbal English communication; Juicebox experience a plus

Overjet's technical bench, the engineers and product leaders shaping our AI platform, is only as strong as the people who find them, and that's you. You'll sit on the Talent Team, but nobody hands this role a pre-built shortlist: you own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and product, every level from early-career to staff and beyond, across both our US and overseas teams. This isn't a role where you set strategy and someone else handles the mechanics: you're writing the outreach messages yourself, coordinating your own interview loops across a nine-hour time difference with no dedicated coordinator support, and holding your own in a technical debate with a hiring manager about a candidate's system design chops.

You need real technical credibility, enough to hold your own in a debate about tradeoffs without getting talked over, but zero ego about the unglamorous parts of the job: the fortieth outreach message of the day, the follow-up with a passive candidate who's gone quiet, running three searches at three different levels at once while managing your own calendar. This role rewards someone who treats every hire as shaping the technical bench that decides what Overjet is capable of building, not a requisition to close. If you want to operate purely at the strategy layer and hand sourcing or scheduling off to someone else, this role will frustrate you. If you want full ownership end to end and you're comfortable working US hours, this is exactly the seat.
