- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, manufacturing routings, and Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) to ensure high-purity standards are consistently met.
- Support equipment setup, process adjustments, and operator training.
- Design new tooling, jigs and fixtures
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods for fabricating chambers from scratch including sheet metal cutting and CNC rolling.
- Specify, source, and commission new fabrication equipment, including automated welding cells, orbital welders, and electropolishing lines.
- Contribute to and lead engineering projects and initiatives, including new product introductions and process upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Participate in lean manufacturing activities such as 5S, kaizen events, and waste reduction projects.
- Collect and analyze production data to support decision‑making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements and resolve issues.
- Support and lead root‑cause investigations and CDT&R activities.
- Lead & execute Management of Change (MOC) process for Manufacturing Engineering related tasks.
- XIV. Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure vessels comply with relevant codes (e.g., ASME Section VIII, National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards, or regional pressure vessel regulations).
- XV. Occasional travel of up to 10% is required to support activities at other company sites, customer locations, or off-site facilities as part of the responsibilities of this role.
- Pressure vessel manufacturing experience (preferred), reactors fabrication
- Laser, plasma cutting, and CNC sheet metal bending knowledge
- TIG/GTAW welding experience and understanding of welding procedures
- CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Manufacturing automation experience
- Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen implementation experience
- Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Mechanical Engineering degree/ Manufacturing Degree
- 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on exposure to fabrication, welding, and pressure vessel manufacturing.
- Experienced in automation projects and manufacturing process optimization.
- Skilled in Lean/VES tools, Kaizen events, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and strong project execution capabilities.

We offer:
Reporting to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, the Manufacturing Engineering Specialist is responsible for Determining the optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products from start-up, building the product line, through satisfactory production. This includes analyzing engineering design documents to establish manufacturing methods and processes to manufacture a component, creating conceptual sketches and initiating the design and building of required tooling. Describes outside vendor services needed for the manufacture of a component. Establishes outsourced vendor manufacturing & quality plans. drive improvement to product cost, quality and performance by utilizing Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies.
This position is part of the Manufacturing Team located in Pune and will be on-site work Model.
