Overview

• Mandarin Curriculum Designer Staff - Education
• Develop and refine a comprehensive Mandarin curriculum for children, including learning objectives, level structure, scope and sequence, and learning outcomes, aligned with frameworks such as YCT and HSK.
• Create age- and level-appropriate lesson plans, teacher guides, worksheets, activities, games, projects, and other supporting learning materials.
• Design interactive learning activities that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, and tonal accuracy.
• Develop placement tests, assessments, rubrics, and other tools to measure learning outcomes, while adapting curriculum to different age groups, proficiency levels, class sizes, and learning needs.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on Mandarin education trends, teaching methodologies, curriculum standards, and competitor programs to continuously improve the curriculum.
• Collaborate with teachers to pilot and refine lessons, provide curriculum training and academic guidance, observe classroom delivery, and ensure curriculum materials are effectively implemented and consistently maintained
• Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Education, Chinese Language and Literature, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Strong spoken and written Mandarin proficiency; minimum HSK Level 5 or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Mandarin teaching, curriculum development, instructional design, or related roles; experience with children preferred.
• Familiar with Mandarin language development and learning frameworks such as YCT or HSK.
• Creative and able to develop engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate learning materials.
• Strong communication, research, project management, and collaboration skills; proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. English and digital learning/design skills are a plus.
