BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The World Food Programme (WFP) envisions Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) as a critical function that supports evidence-based decision-making, enhances accountability, and improves the effectiveness and efficiency of its operations. The job holder will be working as a team member in the Field Office to assist in all matters related to the school meal programming in the targeted districts of Sindh. The Monitoring Associate will report directly to the School Meal M&E Officer and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. The role is critical in ensuring the quality and accountability of field operations, with a primary focus on monitoring school meal activities. The incumbent will play a key role in verifying implementation progress, identifying gaps, and supporting evidence-based decision-making to enhance programme effectiveness.
PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
To coordinate monitoring activities across Sindh and provide timely reports that support the effective delivery of school meals assistance. The Programme Associate (M&E) ensures project oversight and accountability under the guidance of technical staff at various levels.
