Asst Manager_Vehicle Inspection

Overview

• Lead operational readiness and day-to-day service delivery for vehicle inspection centres and mobile inspection units.
• Coordinate authority approvals, licensing readiness, inspection workflows, SOPs, quality controls and compliance requirements.
• Manage resource planning, customer coordination, vendor/workshop interface, issue resolution and service continuity.
• Track KPIs, turnaround time, inspection quality, corrective actions and continuous improvement across inspection operations.
• Strong operational planning, stakeholder management and customer service delivery capability.
• Working knowledge of vehicle inspection workflows, roadworthiness checks, registration/renewal inspection and regulatory documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with transport authorities, fleet customers, workshops, vendors and internal technical/operations teams.
• Arabic speaking preferred for authority liaison, front-end customer communication and local stakeholder coordination.
• Degree or diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Exposure to vehicle inspection, automotive diagnostics, workshop operations, quality, HSE or ISO/IEC 17020 preferred.
• Process-oriented, customer-focused and operationally strong profile with hands-on coordination capability.
• English communication required for reporting and coordination; Arabic speaking preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in vehicle inspection, automotive service operations, fleet inspection, workshop operations or TIC-related technical operations.
• Understanding of inspection processes, safety checks, vehicle condition assessment, reporting, manpower coordination and customer handling.
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC vehicle inspection requirements, transport authority procedures, operating standards and service quality controls preferred.
• Ability to manage KPIs, turnaround time, inspection quality, non-conformities, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• 2–4 years’ experience in product compliance, conformity assessment, certification support or technical documentation review.
• Exposure to telecom, wireless, IoT, electrical/electronics product categories and related GCC/Middle East approval schemes.
• Understanding of applicable schemes such as type approval, G-Mark, ECAS, SABER, IECEE, RoHS or energy efficiency programs preferred.
• Ability to review compliance evidence, identify gaps, follow up with clients/labs and support timely certification submissions.
