Regulatory Compliance Manager

Overview

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager for one of our partners, a leading Digital Bank! THE ROLE There's no compliance framework to inherit here, you build it, from the ground up, while the bank is still being built alongside you. Every new product, every marketing campaign, every vendor contract passes through you before it goes live, and you're the one translating what the regulator expects into something the business can actually run on. It's rare to get to build compliance instead of maintain it, and rarer still to get to prove it works from day one. WHAT YOU'LL DO Play a key role in establishing and embedding the compliance framework for a digital bank Participate in system, policy, and process development Monitor regulatory requirements from the Central Bank of Egypt and other regulators, translating them into practical, scalable policies Review products, journeys, and processes to ensure compliance-by-design Assist with regulatory reporting, inspections, and audits Partner closely with product, tech, risk, and operations teams to enable innovation safely Contribute to building a strong compliance culture, not just rules on paper Provide regulatory guidance to ensure total alignment with Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) directives Review bank-wide policies and procedures in line with CBE instructions Assist business functions in resolving compliance gaps and verifying documentary evidence to fulfill conditions attached to CBE approvals Review contracts and vendor agreements to ensure alignment with regulatory instructions Review and clear all marketing campaigns, promotional offers, advertising materials, and social media content prior to public release Monitor regulatory breaches or internal policy violations, formulating action plans to mitigate exposure and implement corrective actions WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of experience in compliance within banking, fintech, or financial services Strong knowledge of Egyptian banking regulations, AML/CFT, and regulatory expectations Experience working with or supporting digital products or channels, and operating in an international environment, are a big plus A builder's mindset, someone who enjoys creating frameworks, not just following them Sharp analytical skills with strong attention to detail Confidence to challenge, influence, and collaborate across teams Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU You'd rather build the framework than wait for someone else to hand you one You can turn a dense regulatory circular into a policy a product team can actually work with You review a marketing campaign the same way you'd review a product launch, carefully, and before it's live You challenge a decision when something doesn't sit right, even under pressure to move fast You want to build the compliance culture a bank is judged by, not just the rulebook
