SQA Engineer

Overview

Devsinc is looking for a Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of software testing processes and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test cases based on project requirements and specifications. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues. Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality before release. Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and sprint activities. Prepare and maintain test documentation, test scenarios, and test reports. Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing where applicable. Assist in improving QA processes, testing strategies, and automation practices. Ensure software applications meet quality standards and business requirements. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field . 1–2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) . Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software. Required Skills Manual Testing and Test Case Design. Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing. Bug Reporting and Defect Tracking. Knowledge of Jira, Trello, or similar project management and bug-tracking tools . Basic understanding of SQL and database testing . Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman . Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies . Basic knowledge of Git and version control . Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
