We're hiring an experienced and detail-driven Settlement Paralegal to manage the final, critical stage of our clients' cases — ensuring every dollar of their settlement is accounted for, negotiated down where possible, and disbursed accurately and on time. Location

Albuquerque, NM and surrounding areas & Roswell, NM: In-office work required for those residing in this area.

Remote: Available for those living outside the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho/Bernalillo/Los Lunas/Belen/Bosque Farms/Edgewood/Moriarty/Santa Fe/Roswell metro areas

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (Mountain Time Zone)

What We're Looking For

2+ years of direct personal injury settlement experience, including lien negotiation, subrogation, and Medicare/Medicaid claims Demonstrated experience creating settlement distribution materials/packets A deep understanding of subrogation, basic level arithmetic, high organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks regularly Strong attention to detail Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written Organized, focused, and attentive Vigorous verbal negotiation skills Professional attire and demeanor Extensive knowledge of case management software Emotional intelligence Team player. What You'll Do

As a Settlement Paralegal at Parnall Law, you are the final line of advocacy for our clients — making sure every settlement dollar is negotiated, verified, and disbursed correctly and on time.

MISSION STATEMENT

To provide clients with a complete detailed disbursement of their settlement funds including negotiating insurance reimbursement and provider reimbursement, to maximize our clients' net compensation.

RESULTS / OUTCOMES (What you must get done.)

Attend weekly firm-wide huddle every Monday morning at 8:00 am Attend daily team mini huddle Tuesday through Friday at 8:00 am Attend biweekly meeting with Team Lead to go over individual metrics and create a biweekly goal, fully prepared with supporting data. Enter settlement details on the Medicare portal for all settled cases within 24 hours of settlement. Verify that all claims on the subrogation ledgers of claims paid are related, within 2 days of receipt of the final ledger, once the claim is settled. Attempt partial or full distribution of all settlement funds within 5 days of receipt of the settlement check. Anything over 5 days is considered outside ISOT. Complete fina
