R&D Senior Engineer – Dielectrics and Alternative Insulating Fluids (f/m/d)

Overview

• Conduct dielectric and insulation feasibility studies for power transformers
• Design and optimize solid, liquid, and composite insulation systems
• Perform FEM-based simulations for electric field and dielectric stress analysis
• Support factories during project execution, troubleshooting, and design clarification
• Develop and improve transformer insulation design software tools
• Lead qualification activities for alternative insulating fluids
• Collaborate with suppliers, laboratories, and manufacturing teams globally
• Contribute to standards, specifications, and risk assessment improvements
• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials, Dielectrics, or High Voltage Engineering
• Strong expertise in dielectric phenomena
• Working experience with insulating materials is an advantage
• Proven experience with FEM-based simulation tools
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in international and cross-functional teams
