ABOUT THE FINANCE TEAM

Thumbtack’s Finance team is the trusted steward of the company’s resources and a genuine partner to the business. We do not just report the numbers; we help decide where the next dollar goes. Corporate FP&A sits at the center of that work, owning the consolidated forecast, the annual plan, and the reporting that leadership and our Board rely on. We are also rebuilding how finance work gets done, using AI to take the manual grind out of reporting so the team can spend its time on judgment instead of assembly. It is a small, high-trust team with unusually direct access to the decisions that shape the company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Manager, Corporate FP&A, you will own the consolidated view of Thumbtack’s P&L — the forecast, the annual plan, and the reporting that goes to our leadership team and Board. This is a high-scope individual contributor role with direct exposure to the CFO and the Finance leadership team. You will also help rebuild how the work gets done: we are actively replacing manual FP&A processes with AI-assisted workflows, and we want someone who is excited to lead that, not just tolerate it.
