Room Atttendant

Overview

• Department: Housekeeping
• Reports To: Floor Supervisor, Head Housekeeper, or Housekeeping Manager
• Job Purpose: To transform used guest rooms into pristine, welcoming environments, ensuring complete guest satisfaction and upholding the property's reputation.
• Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Room Cleaning & Servicing: Strip and make beds with fresh linens, clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, and tiles), and dust or polish all furniture and fixtures.
• Floor Care: Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop hard floors in guest rooms, corridors, and entryways.
• Restocking Supplies: Replenish bath amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) and room refreshments (coffee, tea, and minibar items) according to brand standards.
• Maintenance & Reporting: Inspect rooms for damages, lightbulb burnouts, or appliance malfunctions, and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Guest Services: Greet guests politely, respond to requests for extra towels or pillows, and turn in any lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
• Cart & Inventory Management: Stock, organize, and maintain the housekeeping cleaning cart and floor linen closets at the start and end of each shift.
