Platform Engineering & DevOps Engineer – AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD & DevSecOps

Overview

• AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Strong hands-on experience managing and optimizing cloud environments using at least one major cloud platform.
• Docker: Practical experience building, securing, managing and deploying containerized applications.
• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications, administering clusters, performing upgrades and troubleshooting workloads.
• Terraform, CloudFormation or Similar IaC Frameworks: Experience creating reusable Infrastructure as Code for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and environment standardization.
• CI/CD Tools: Strong experience with one or more of the following:JenkinsGitHub ActionsGitLab CI/CDAzure DevOpsCircleCI
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Shell Script or PowerShell for automation, infrastructure management and operational tasks.

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Platform Engineering & DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable, secure and reliable platform infrastructure. The role will focus on platform engineering, cloud adoption, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, observability, DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices.The position will enable development teams through self-service capabilities, reusable platform components, standardized environments and efficient deployment practices. The role will also provide technical guidance, support platform modernization and improve the reliability, security, performance and cost efficiency of Synechron’s technology platforms.
