Manager, EV Reporting and Persistency Management

Overview

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Embedded Value (EV) and Value of New Business (VNB) reporting.
• Oversee Analysis of Movement (AoM), including operating variances, persistency impacts, expense variances, economic variances and assumption changes.
• Review and challenge EV and VNB methodologies, assumptions and reporting outputs.
• Prepare EV and VNB cashflow projections, sensitivities and management insights.
• Ensure consistency and reconciliation across EV, IFRS17, Business Planning and management reporting results.
• Provide high-quality reporting and commentary for management, CFO, EXCO and Group reporting purposes.
• Lead monitoring and analysis of key in-force performance indicators including persistency, collection ratio, TWPI movements and expense allowances.
• Perform experience analysis and investigate drivers of business performance by product, distribution channel and cohort.
• Assess impacts of experience trends on profitability, EV emergence and business value.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve persistency, business quality and long-term profitability.
• Support management understanding of emerging risks and opportunities within the in-force portfolio.
• Lead actuarial inputs into Business Plan and forecasting exercises relating to EV, VNB and in-force performance.
• Support economic assumption setting and ongoing assumption governance processes.
• Perform experience studies supporting business planning and financial projections.
• Analyse forecast versus actual performance and communicate key business drivers and variances.
• Ensure consistency between assumptions used across EV, VNB, Business Plan and other actuarial applications.
• Support capital assessments, financial projections and profitability analysis.
• Provide actuarial insights relating to value creation, capital efficiency and business sustainability.
• Support Takaful capital management analysis and related reporting requirements.
• Ensure consistency between actuarial projections, financial planning outputs and capital considerations.
• Provide business performance insights to senior management, Distribution, Finance, Product and other stakeholders.
• Support validation and monitoring of business performance metrics used in incentive structures and performance management frameworks.
• Deliver data-driven analysis supporting strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Communicate actuarial findings in a clear and commercially relevant manner.
• Maintain robust governance over EV, VNB and in-force performance reporting processes.
• Ensure appropriate controls, reconciliations and documentation standards are maintained.
• Coordinate Group reporting submissions and responses to reporting queries.
• Support internal audits, external audits and governance reviews.
• Maintain documentation of models, methodologies, assumptions and reporting processes.
• Drive reporting automation, process enhancements and data quality improvements.
• Improve efficiency, scalability and reliability of actuarial reporting processes.
• Enhance reporting outputs to improve clarity, consistency and decision usefulness.
• Leverage technology, analytics and AI-enabled tools to strengthen
